I discovered silk painting and the technique when my parents sent me to Paris for a period of time to expand my knowledge of the French language. I had rented an attic a few steps from Montmartre and nearby there was an attelier where an artist used the natural silk for his artwork. Everything started there

After a time, when I returned to Barcelona my first...
steps in this field were designated to do exhibitions and I gradually introduced myself to the world of interior where I got to paint large format pieces for architects and interior designers.
In the year 92, my agent, who in those days was a charming and funny English woman asked me to paint fans...
which complemented the shawls and scarves and this is how a new way to express myself with colours began. Using small pieces of natural silk rather than the large sizes I used to work with. At first I did not know how to start, I needed space everywhere, but then over time I admit that it is a format that I feel very comfortable with and the designs flow easily.
I like soft silks and in the workshop i love to see them...
on the racks because once painted you can admire the transparency of the different colours. Sometimes it is the best way to start a working day ... Colour ... colour ... and more colour.
When I create the new designs I like being alone in the workshop...
Mixing myself with the colors, the brushes, and stroking the silks. In silence ... just me and the inspiration, as Pablo Picasso said: "If inspiration comes let it me working".
I am passionate about my work and it is shown in what I do...
I work meticulously everything, made entirely by hand, with a high quality modern design that makes our collections look like textile jewels.
